Job Description: The candidate will be required to work in a team environment as well as independently to analyze data, generate financial reports, resolve problems, and provide guidance, analysis, and opinions of the financial status of a program or programs to the program management office, customer, and internal senior leadership. The candidate will develop budgets and act as key expert in financial analysis issues, concerns and project financial status, including day to day support of assigned programs, contracts and subcontract. Selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submittal of both internal and customer reports including monthly program reviews, Estimate At Complete (EAC), Estimate To Complete (ETC), and internal revenue, cash, and backlog forecasts.

Basic Qualifications: – BS degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree and experience is required. Top Secret Clearance is required. Experience with multiple contract types (CPFF/CPIF, FFP/FPIF) desired. Exposure and experience with Earned Value Management is a plus. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to multi-task and work ad-hoc requests on short notice. Must be proficient/expert in the use of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Deltek Accounting Systems, COBRA and Cognos is a plus.

Model Candidate Skills: Has 5 years of Financial Government Contracting experience including experience with Earned Value and Cost Accounting. Experience with Cobra and CostPoint are desired. Awareness of DCAA and FARs requirements, principles of Earned Value, Program Finance, Financial Reporting, Contract Administration, and Proposal Preparation. Must be well organized, self motivated and detailed orientated. An independent worker, self-starter, and proactive contributor are required.
