Orbital ATK is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant at our Rancho Bernardo, CA location.

Job description:

This position will provide administrative support in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Candidate enjoys fast paced environment and is adaptable to change. Responsibilities may change throughout the day according to the needs of the business. This is a full time position (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Front Desk/Visitor Control: answer phones, direct calls, admit visitors, maintain conference room schedules
• Shipping/Receiving: generate on-line shipping documents, coordinate carriers, create packing slips/bills of lading, receive incoming packages and log appropriately
• Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings and conference calls, planning staff functions, travel scheduling, data entry, document word processing, preparation of expense reports, and processing visitor requests and coordination.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable concerning invoices
• Organize and maintain records for site and corporate reporting
• Coordinate maintenance of office equipment with service technicians
• Environmental Reporting: maintain records and permits, arrange hazardous waste pickup
• Work independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects
• Order and maintain both office and kitchen supplies.
• Assist with various program operations as requested as responsibilities permit
• Coordinate and schedule catered events
• Coordinate company social and volunteer events
• Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing documents, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma required; (education will be verified)
• College experience / Associates Degree is preferred
• A minimum of four years of professional executive support experience is required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, MSWord, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess the highest level of integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Must be able to work seamlessly across functional boundaries to ensure that deadlines are met without executive interaction.
• Ability to use copy machine, fax machine, and multiple phone lines
• Requires US Citizenship and ability to acquire and maintain a DOD Security Clearance
