We are currently seeking a Solution Architect with real world experience designing and architecting large scale enterprise systems.

What will your job look like?

• Ownership of the end to end solution, understanding the design, interfaces, data model, configuration and Vubiquity’s role and functions in the ecosystem
• External- Produce detailed design documents/specifications to match customer requirements
• Internal- Create design spaces in Wiki, stories/tasks by features/epic in backlog
• Provide direction and solution during discovery/design and support development and delivery
• Lead client-facing technical activities, being accountable for appropriate Vubiquity representation and position on the team’s vendor/client technical communication
• Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently and align with the product roadmap where possible
• Maintain long-term and big picture plans for client systems, architecture and technical environment Provide high level estimates for projects for all technical disciplines, and involves other discipline leads where appropriate
• Identify new opportunities in day-to-day communication, and communicates them to the internal stakeholder

All you need is…

• PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Media & Entertainment, Telecom, IPTV and or Cloud technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are: 
• 8+ years combined industry experience in technology
• 3+ years’ experience in Front-end application development in React Native, SolidJS, Typescript, Javascript, Kotlin, Swift
• Cloud based Multi-Tenant SaaS platforms      
• 2+ years’ experience in architecture design for scalability, load, high availability
• Good knowledge of Microservices and server-side architectures as well as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.
• Good understanding of Java, Python, Go lang
• Experience in micro services architecture (Event driven), Spring reactor, Kafka messaging, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes
• Reactive programming concepts

• Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology and practices
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Team orientation and sparkling interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate good judgement and pragmatic approach in high pressure situations
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction, multi-tasking when required Organized and analytical, able to work in a collaborative team setting with specified
