Position Summary:

Bechtel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences across our digital platforms. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to develop cutting-edge solutions that exceed customer expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in a senior role.
  • Proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of UI/UX design projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow HRSD design experience.
  • Customer Experience Specialist experience.
  • Extensive experience in gathering and interpreting customer experience information.
  • Knowledge of online customer engagement platforms and channels.
