The Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as Chief of Staff to the VP of Marketing Operations, acting as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to help shape key initiatives and achieve organizational goals. You will manage and prioritize projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Manage a broader Marketing PMO function.  Your role will be to guide and lead the effective implementation of marketing campaigns and programs, as well as to promote the use of agile methods throughout the organization. You will manage the delivery of campaigns and programs to ensure they meet the deadlines, expectations, and budget.
  • Oversee budget and performance management for collective Marketing organization.  You will ensure that the Marketing budget is aligned with the business objectives and optimized for efficiency and impact. You will monitor and report on the key performance indicators of Marketing campaigns and programs, identifying areas of improvement and best practices. You will also provide guidance and support to the Marketing teams on how to leverage data and analytics to optimize their performance and demonstrate their value to the business.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.     
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a track record of leading and executing successful campaigns and programs across multiple channels.  Alternatively, 5+ years of experience as a management consultant with a top 3 consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization (including executives).
  • Experience as an executive’s Chief of Staff.
  • Expertise in agile marketing methodologies and tools, e.g., scrum, Jira.
  • Experience in budget planning and management, performance measurement and analysis, and ROI optimization.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

 

Location Based Pay Ranges

$150380 – $200500 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$158290 – $211050 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$166210 – $221610 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$174120 – $232160 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

 

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
