The Role

The RCA Manager is responsible for ownership, implementation, and interpretation of all Network Engineering, ISP, and Outside Plant Construction Contracts in support of Network Implementation and the Operations teams. The RCA Manager ensures all parties are upholding their obligations as defined within the Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work. They work to limit liability risks to the business by understanding, interpreting, and communicating contractual responsibilities to either party.
 

The Main Responsibilities

•    Responsible for developing, implementing & conducting all Scorecard activities as they relate to contractor performance and coordination with Suppliers, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, Procurement, and relevant internal teams.
•    Assist Network Implementation & Operations with contractual language, Project Bids, research and document interpretation, analysis of cost associated with unit usage and cycle times and make recommendations to help improve business efficiencies when and where applicable 
•    Provide performance management and support to Lumen and Suppliers. Build and maintain relationships to facilitate partnerships, address escalations, and manage performance.
•    Partner with the business units to understand roles, responsibilities to offer guidance and support.
 

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required:

•    Understanding of engineering and construction logistics. 
•    Basic understanding of contract language and contract negotiation skills. 
•    Ability to lead calls, communicate and present developed training material or other critical deliverables.
•    Strong Communication Skills
•    Conflict Resolution 
Preferred:
•    Knowledgeable of Lumen Systems, including but not limited to; SAP, Fireworks, BidMaster, WebFocus, Sitetracker and APO.
•    Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite applications.
•    Experience in Outside plant engineering and construction.
•    Experience in Inside plant engineering and construction.
•    Working knowledge of finance principles including Capital vs. Expense, and procurement of materials.  
Experience:
•    Associate degree or equivalent. 
•    7+ years of telecommunications industry experience.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$63,980 – $85,300 in these states: AR  ID  KY  LA  ME  MS  NE  SC  SD 
$67,340 – $89,780 in these states: AL  AZ  FL  GA  IA  IN  KS  MO  MT  ND  NM  OH  OK  PA  TN  UT  VT  WI  WV  WY 
$70,710 – $94,270 in these states: CO  HI  MI  MN  NC  NH  NV  OR  RI 
$74,070 – $98,760 in these states: AK  CA  CT  DC  DE  IL  MA  MD  NJ  NY  TX  VA  WA 

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
