Project Overview:
Driftwood LNG LLC is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team and supervise the administration of Supplier Quality activities. You will prepare project Supplier Quality procedures and operating instructions, develop project specific metrics, and make recommendations on supplier suitability. Your expertise will highlight trends, help improve supplier performance and resolve risk and issues that impact project objectives.

Major Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and administer Quality Surveillance Assignments (QSAs) for source surveillance, surveys and audits as required for project
- Coordinate with SQ Regional Managers and Supervisors for the allocation of resources for intended QSAs
- Coordinate Supplier Quality services with other project functions
- Reviews material requisitions including technical specifications regarding quality requirements and participates with Engineering in determining the surveillance levels required and establishing witness and hold points.
- Assists in the development of the final bid list and the selection of a recommended bidder
- Assists with the establishment of Quality Surveillance levels required for each purchase
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience for grade 26 or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 11-13 years of relevant experience for grade 27 or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires experience managing a team of project supplier quality professionals. For grade 27, three years or more of supervision is required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior experience in performing surveillance activities and providing feedback to others on surveillance activities
- Prior experience in leadership roles
- Prior experience in trending supplier performance issues
- Prior experience building project surveillance budgets and trending those budgets as required
- Technical knowledge of common processes, fabrication sequences, and referenced codes associated with LNG projects including ASME BPVC, B31.3, and AWS D1.1.
