Scope of Responsibility

• Work with Applied’s Strategic Account Managers and Strategic Accounts Operations Managers to develop pricing strategies for national customers.
• Provide education and support to Applied’s sales associates at all levels of the organization to achieve the corporate goal of maximizing gross profit.
• Assure contract compliance.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop national price records during the RFQ and/or RFP process.
• Execute and maintain contractual price agreements in SAP, both nationally and locally for all national contract customers.
• Serve as liaison with strategic account managers, chargeback department and field associates to obtain pricing information and provide support.
• Carry out periodic reviews of customer’s price records.  Analyze and create reports using sales data to highlight areas where margin needs improvement.
• Work with the sales team to execute recommended customer price updates in SAP. 
• Assure contract compliance in reviewing price deviation requests.  Effectively communicate issues with all interested parties.
• Format data and prepare reports as required based on application or customer specifications.
• Track pricing changes, identify and research discrepancies.
• Assist in special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
• Active involvement in continuous improvement of processes.
• Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars, and on-the-job training.

Education and Experience

• Fundamental understanding in pricing structures and techniques.
• Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skill sets including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL with Microsoft ACCESS.
• Experience with SAP OTC and SAP Pricing Module preferred.
• Must have the ability to manage a diverse set of job responsibilities and work with people at different levels within the company. 
• Possess effective organizational skills, and work within deadlines.
• Goal and results oriented individual who can take the initiative to accomplish tasks at a fast pace and demonstrate the ability to set priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
