CNC Programmer – BWX Technologies, Inc  — Barberton, OH 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide daily floor support in the manufacturing of naval nuclear components.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining NC Programs used to manufacture parts in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Review manufacturing process routers and sketches, ensuring processes are manufacturable.

  • Troubleshoot NC Programs and test processes as issues arise.

 

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or engineering field is preferred, Technical Certification or applicable experience acceptable.

  • 5 years experience in a similar machining and programming environment is preferred.

  • Solid math/statistical skills and knowledgeable in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and print reading.

  • Experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and assembly preferred.

  • Experience or knowledge of inspection techniques including dimensional inspection, preferred but not required.Experience with NX Cam and Vericut Preferred, experience with other CAD/CAM softwares acceptable.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Secuirty Clearance.
