Job Description

The Money Market Representative is responsible for executing Brokered Deposit CD’s, and handling other various brokered transactions that contribute to the banks funding liquidity needs. This includes tracking monthly interest payments, as well as monthly fees, The Money Market Rep is also responsible for settling the Fed Reserve positions in an ongoing back-up capacity to the Fed Funds Trader.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will oversee existing investments, execute transactions for large-scale and brokered deposits, invest in short-term products, recommend products to customers, and collaborate with bank sales personnel to market deposit products.
  • You will manage Public Funds CDs. These CDs are managed through an auction process, which necessitates the arrangement of collateral pledges for these investments.
  • You will be jointly responsible for entering and ensuring the correctness of current rates in different systems for corporate networks.
  • You’ll support the Fed Funds desk by reconciling BOKF, NA’s Federal Reserve positions and trading Fed Funds with various financial institutions.
  • You’ll support the Sweep Repo Portfolio with Mimics, handling new accounts, account upkeep, and closed account removal.
  • Your role will involve managing data using software tools. This involves generating, structuring, and maintaining data in spreadsheets and databases, as well as collecting data for storage. You are also responsible for creating and distributing reports based on this data and ensuring the quality of these reports.
  • You will be aiding in the execution of liquidity stress tests, in alignment with both Contingency Funding and Business Continuity Plans.
  • You will be tasked with preparing the Basel III liquidity ratio reports for senior management and regulators.
  • You will serve as a member of the Pricing Committee. You will be involved in analyzing, setting liability pricing, developing new products for promotion, and documenting pricing information for both consumer and commercial banking sectors.
  • You will cultivate new business opportunities by identifying existing clients, promoting various bank services, and collaborating with bank sales staff to develop and present investment proposals.
  • You will assess requests for rate exceptions made by retail branch staff and grant approval if it is economically viable.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a business related field and 1-4 years sales and/or banking experience or 10-13 years equivalent work related experience.
