Materials Management Coordinator

Our company welcomes applications to the Materials Management Coordinator position. This position is responsible for supporting the development of Home Care & Personal Care products globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, warehouse & materials management.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide the Global Technology Center (GTech) team with the raw & packaging materials according to requirements & timeline for new products development and implementation
  • Establish strong working relationships / networking with key areas (external and internal) to negotiate and source raw and packaging material, operating supplies. This can include CP and MH procurement teams, external suppliers, customer service & logistics, R&D, Quality and Regulatory among others.
  • Coordinate the proper reception of raw and packaging materials from Mission Hills plant and external suppliers to the MH Pilot Plant as well to dispatch to CP Antara Warehouse.
  • Coordinate the export of R&P materials to different GTCs according to requirements and timeline
  • Control of materials in both warehouses (MH /CP) according to their quality and safety classification as well as their final disposal including expired and obsolete materials
  • Maintain the accuracy of the inventory registered in the warehouse against physical inventory
  • Coordinate the pilot plant scheduling process to successfully conduct the experimentation
  • Coordinate with finance the Wall-to-Wall inventory according to the plan
  • Prepare CEB projects and guarantee the appropriate implementation
  • Control of the operating supplies and material experimental budget, as well as identify FTG opportunities
  • Follow up on the findings made by EHS, Quality and other groups.
  • Effective team supervisión, tasks delegation and development plans as well as identify career opportunities

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or related
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in warehousing, materials management, planning, logistics or similar
  • Experience with people management (desirablle)
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time to Mexico City / CP Antara (company’s shuttle is available for this activity)
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
