About the role

We are now recruiting for a Manufacturing Administrator to join our Site Planning Team in the sunny Riverland. This role is primarily responsible for issuing Shop Floor Packets to the Packaging Hall, completing work order component issues and component reconciliations, monitoring manufacturing variances, and investigating discrepancies with the Filling and Warehouse teams.
 

The role is based in the modern Berri Estates Packaging Centre
This role is full-time and permanent. 

Key Accountabilities

1.    Shop Floor Packets
•    Prepare Shop Floor Packets (SFP’s) using JDE and supporting systems
•    Issue hard copy SFP’s to the Packaging Hall and coordinate effective and efficient movement of   to ensure timely work order closure

2.    Work Order Execution 
•    Execute work order completions including dry goods allocations, wastage inclusions, end of lot inventory allocations and investigation
•    Monitor Work Order variances against agreed Scrap rates and investigate with Filling or Warehouse staff as required
•    Escalate out of tolerance waste levels with the Purchasing Supervisor
•    Attend daily Operations meeting, action work order related changes in a timely manner and report on activities as required

3.    Inventory Management
•    Work with Procurement and SNP members on the operational and strategic management of Dry Goods including the issue and allocation to work orders
•    Work with Inventory Team to facilitate stock takes and stock adjustments as required
•    Execute Inventory Adjustments following approval from stakeholders
•    Work with Quality on investigating and implementing corrective and preventative actions where required, and work with Planning to mitigate service risks through timely work order execution

4.    Housekeeping
•    Maintain Housekeeping Reports and track performance in team registers
•    Investigate Data Integrity issues as they are detected and identify corrective and preventative actions, including reconciliation of inventory discrepancies 
•    Transact stock movements for internal DG movements, sparkling menu’s and WIP stock requirements as required

5.    Continuous Improvement
•    Support in identification, design, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
•    Actively support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement teams

What you’ll bring:

• Preferable to have prior experience in a manufacturing role in a FMCG environment, ideally within work order management, inventory control, purchasing or planning.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing requirements
• Proven history with references
• Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
