About the Role

We are seeking a hands on Liquid Innovation Specialist to support the development and delivery of next generation wine and beverage products within the Vinarchy Innovation ecosystem.
This role is full-time and is highly practical and varied, combining prototype development, sample preparation, lab support, and cross functional collaboration. The role would be ideal for someone passionate about wine, curious about emerging beverage trends, and eager to contribute in a fast paced innovation environment.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support the development of new wine and wine based products, including non traditional winemaking (e.g. low/no alcohol wines, flavoured variants, and functional beverages)
•    Collect, prepare, and blend wine and grape juice samples to create product prototypes
•    Support innovation and renovation projects across the business as required
•    Prepare, label, organise, and dispatch wine and NPD samples for trials and tastings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
•    Set up and assist with internal and external innovation tastings, including room preparation, materials, and samples
•    Perform basic laboratory duties such as measuring, mixing, blending, and sample logging
•    Support exploration of alternative ingredients (e.g. botanicals, natural extracts) and fermentation techniques
•    Ensure all innovations comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards across key markets (EU, US, APAC)
•    Work closely with Packaging, Brand, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure liquids align with brand values and go to market strategies
•    Act as a technical support resource on other projects as required
•    Actively seek and contribute new ideas aligned to innovation and continuous improvement strategies

About You

•    A background in wine, food science, or product development.
•    Experience in a laboratory, winery, or product testing environment.
•    Curious and a creative thinker
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously.
•    Comfortable working with physical product samples, including wine and raw ingredients.
•    Team player with good communication skills and a hands-on approach.
•    Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data management and Word for document creation.
•    Project management experience is a plus.
