As the Head of IT Data and AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Amdocs’s data strategy and driving innovation through artificial intelligence. You’ll lead a dynamic team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, ensuring the successful implementation of data-driven solutions across the organization, transforming raw data into actionable insights, all while aligning with business needs and strategic vision.

What will your job look like?

Data strategy and governance

• Lead and execute a visionary data strategy aligned with Amdocs’s business objectives. 
• Translate business aspirations into data realities – turn initiatives of predictive analytics, customer insights, employee experiences, and more into practical and impactful data solutions.
• Become the design authority, pave the way toward and ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards.
• Play a pivotal role in establishing robust data governance policies, focusing on ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, safeguarding Amdocs data assets with precision and diligence.

Gen AI and Machine Learning Leadership

• Define the overarching strategic vision for AI and machine learning initiatives within Amdocs IT and chart the course toward intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and personalized experiences
• Explore and harness the power of Gen AI across our data-driven landscape and implement innovative gen AI-based solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and identify opportunities where AI can enhance our products, services, and processes. 
• Understand data requirements in depth and translate business needs into practical data and AI solutions. 
• Effectively communicate the value of data-driven insights and empower strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Team Management and Development
• Take the leading and mentoring of a high-performing team of data professionals. 
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, where every team member contributes to the collective expertise.

All you need is…

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
• At least  15 years of proven experience in a senior Data role within a global organization 
• Deep expertise in Gen AI, Data and BI technologies 
• Demonstrated experience in driving technology innovation 
• Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for technology in alignment with business goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
