We are now recruiting for a Finance Shared Service & Reconciliations Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. Working with a team of both onshore and offshore resources to reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable general ledger accounts and provide supporting reporting and analyses to the commercial teams and corporate finance. Owning the ledgers and working between transactional and financial teams for clear and accountable outcomes to create a smooth process.

This opportunity exists to improve processes to create efficiencies and support the organisations planned growth trajectory into the future while being a fantastic entry into the accounting team of a global organisation.

You will be based in our Bristol offices, with flexibility to work from home 2/3 days per week.

This role is Full-Time and Permanent. 
 

Key responsibilities include:

•    Completion of General Ledger reconciliations each month end and investigation of items requiring clearance as required.
•    Enforcing SOP’s for processing and working with direct reports around implementation.
•    Ensure services provided by the offshore processing team are coming within contracted SLA’s.
•    Ensuring we meet all audit and regulatory compliance.
•    Offer process improvements and process training as required.
•    Exercise governance, ensuring organization meets compliance, audit and risk exposure parameters.
•    Partner treasury with clear cash forecasting and budget modelling.
•    Budget to actual analyses and reporting.

What you’ll bring:

•    Finance qualification (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or on the way to achieving.
•    An understanding of the financial implications on the general ledger of day-to-day AR/AP transactions
•    Clear and concise communicator
•    Multitasker with genuine enjoyment of managing multiple outcomes.
•    Financial mind with desire to dig into the detail and resolve exceptions.
