Job Summary:

Reporting to the Distribution Management Cluster Lead, the Distribution Manager, in alignment with the other impacted functions (Sales, Service, Parts, Finance etc.) develops the distribution network in the market according to the guiding principles, achieving the respective targets, measured on:

  • Distribution network coverage quality
  • Network consolidation level
  • Network exclusivity / brand focus
  • Network performance levels and tool implementation
  • Dealer quality

 

 

Your Impact

  • Support network transformation plan execution
  • Prospect, nominate and terminate dealers, distribution contract negotiation
  • Ensure dealers meet quality standards, execute local dealer performance reviews, ensure quality/implementation of improvement actions
  • Strategic dealer communication, create individual mid-term strategic improvement plans by dealer
  • Coach dealers on financial health

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Studies in Agriculture, Business or Economics (Bachelor)
  • Experience in the area of dealer management or sales at a multi-outlet distributor partner or with an OEM in ag/construction machinery or truck/automotive
  • Knowledge of Finance and Commercial Law in a distribution environment
  • Leadership skills with positive drive to influence various stakeholders
  • Pragmatic team player, eager to achieve goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Able to lead change
