Director, Digital Business Enablement

 

Location: Office-Based Exton / Home-Based US / Hybrid

 

Position Summary:

The Digital Business Enablement team is responsible for partnering with our business stakeholders to deliver optimized processes, systems, and data capabilities to grow our business. These solutions provided by Digital Business Enablement are the core of our user’s experience engaging with Bentley internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can partner across the organization to understand business imperatives and drive the continuous enablement, and support, of capabilities in enterprise applications.  

Bentley is currently amid a transformational journey to modernize sales, marketing, data and ERP platforms to upscale our user experience and processes across the enterprise. Within the Digital Business Enablement team, we are focused on partnerships with our business to deliver world-class enterprise applications to streamline our business processes and user experience. To compliment this effort, the team is seeking a senior leader for our ERP, HCM and digital storefront capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can partner across the organization to understand business imperatives and drive the continuous enablement, and support, of capabilities in enterprise applications. They will have demonstrated success in developing and optimizing processes, achieving operational goals, and diving into problems with a data-driven mentality. Your Day-to-Day:

 

  • Oversee the system portfolio that supports end-to-end processes for order-to-cash, record-to-report, procurement, digital sales and human capital management (HCM) business processes while working closely with leaders across these functions to strategize, implement systems, processes and programs to enable their success. 

  • Own the long-term strategic roadmap for ERP, HCM, CLM and digital storefront systems to support business needs.  

  • Partner with strategy to align long-term roadmaps with broader business applications and Bentley Digital Experience strategic objectives.  

  • Drive executional planning, converting strategic roadmaps into executional plans and quarterly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to deliver business value. 

  • Comfortable working with, presenting to, and facilitating decisions among senior leaders based on evolving priorities. Able to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo. 

  • Lead execution of multiple simultaneous, cross-functional projects and/or programs. Proactively make adjustments or prioritization to course-correct programs that are in jeopardy and communicate those updates to the correct stakeholders.  

  • Lead and grow a collaborative team of solution consultants, architects, developers and managers as needs expand. 

  • Set clear goals and directions and provide regular feedback to team members’ performance. 

  • Requires people Management.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.
  • This role require communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role requires to travel – 5 to 10% 
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).

 

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 12+ years of experience in operations consulting / system implementation / stakeholder management or related experience.  

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, with demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic and operational initiatives. 

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify strategic needs, lead planning with sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners.  

  • Ability to define metrics for success, track KPIs towards those metrics and experience analyzing and proposing data-driven solutions. This position is expected to utilize data and metrics to communicate needs. 

  • Strong executive communication skills: exceptional writing skills. Effective communication in written and verbal form.  

  • Forward-thinking strategist with proven success in translating strategy to tactical plans with high-quality execution and delivery.  

  • A proven track record of innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer and quality focus. 

  • A healthy skepticism for the status quo and an unwillingness to settle.
