Scope of Responsibility:

Demand Planning in CACE regions including Kazakhstan, responsible for creating and effectively managing the Sales Forecast and Supply Planning systems, delivering key targets i.e. Forecast Accuracy and Product Availability while keeping inventory at healthy and budgeted level.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and run Company’s forecast generation system. 

  • Develop an efficient information interface with other functions inside the company for integrated planning of new product launches.

  • Conduct monthly cross-functional planning meetings

  • Execute and continuously improve all standard processes of planning regular product supply into the country.

  • Lead efforts to evaluate alternative Supply Chain networks that optimize cost and service objectives while considering changes in business and customer profiles.

  • Monitor and normalize stock situation by developing and following up stock increasing/decreasing plans

  • Ensures optimal utilization of SAP throughout the Customer Service & Logistics organization.

  • Build long-term continuous knowledge on the in-country market specifics relating to demand forecasting.

  • Analyze and contribute in in-market sales planning

  • Build functional expertise in the IT/ERP technologies.

  • Implement regional Supply/Demand Planning projects.

  • Accountable for adhering to Colgate-Palmolive, and governmental guidelines related to Quality, and Regulatory.

  • Develops and executes a logistics network master plan, as well as organizational capabilities, necessary to support future business growth.

  • Multiple interactions where key stakeholders are commercial teams (marketing managers and CD leaders). Daily communication with source and supply team

 

Requirements:

  • Higher educational degree; preferably in logistics, economics, business administration, management

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Business environment knowledge
  • Analytical skills
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting systems
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Logistics & Customer Service
  • Inventory Management
  • Supply Chain
  • Meeting facilitation
  • 3-5 years in international supply chain planning and logistics operations; preferably with a multinational FMCG company.
  • Fluent in Russian, English
