Your role:

Serve as the customer service / inside sales interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies. The effective and efficient processing of all customer order transactions and customer order inquiries with minimal direct supervision.

 

•         Process customer orders.

•         Send order confirmations.

•         Process customer quotes.

•         Contact vendor for price and delivery information.

•         Check price and stock per customer request.

•         Interact with Outside Sales regarding quotes.

•         Send customer quotes.

•         Send direct ship PO to the vendors.

•         Check price and stock for Outside Sales.

•         Answer incoming sales department phone calls.

•         Check Voice mail messages and respond to customers.

•         Expedite customer orders.

•         Provide tracking information.

•         Spec in product based on customer description.

•         Print pick Ticket for hot orders.

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 2-4 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • General knowledge of sales order processing and inventory practices.
