We are now inviting expressions of interest for the role of Customer Marketing Manager  within Commercial ANZ, based in Sydney on a full time permanent basis. 

 

Role Details

The Customer Marketing Manager plays a key role in enabling One Vinarchy.  

 

Reporting to the Senior Customer Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for translating brand and category strategies into customer‑led activation that drives conversion, visibility and commercial performance across a defined channel, customer group or geographical area. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual area‑specific customer marketing plans aligned to brand, category and commercial objectives
  • Act as the conduit between Brand, Category/Insights, Sales and customers, bringing shopper and market context into planning
  • Translate brand plans into customer‑ and channel‑specific activations across the full shopper journey
  • Brief and manage agencies to develop POS, promotional materials and tailored executions that increase conversion
  • Partner with Sales teams to support customer pitches, reviews and activation proposals, attending customer meetings where appropriate
  • Manage A&P investment for the designated area, ensuring optimal allocation, tracking, ROI evaluation and performance reporting
  • Ensure all customer marketing activity adheres to responsible alcohol marketing standards, customer requirements and industry regulations
  • Lead or contribute to cross‑functional projects that improve customer marketing effectiveness, efficiency and ways of working

Experience/Capability

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related discipline

  • 3+ years’ experience in customer, shopper or trade marketing, or related commercial or brand roles within FMCG, beverages or wine

  • Demonstrated experience delivering below‑the‑line activation and customer‑led initiatives

  • Experience managing agencies across POS, design and activation development

  • Strong stakeholder management capability across Sales, Marketing, Category/Insights and external partners

  • Strong commercial and channel acumen, with insight‑led planning capability

  • Proven project and process management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently

  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol marketing standards and industry compliance
