The Corporate Trust Manager is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the services delivered to Corporate Trust Clients.

Job Description

The Manager, Corporate Trust is primarily responsible for leadership and managing personnel that supports the Corporate Trust business lines. This position manages the Relationship Management Teams and Sales Admin Support personnel who is responsible for servicing Corporate Trust clients and prospects.   Responsibilities include involvement in the overall client relationship management of the Corporate Trust client accounts. In addition, the Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities to cross sell additional financial services to existing and prospective clients. Additional responsibilities include delivery of various Corporate Trust products to institutional clients. Generally will require little direct supervision.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will manage personnel who are responsible for serving Corporate Trust clients and prospects. Responsibilities include determining work priorities and schedules; interview and recommend candidates, evaluate, hire, orient, coaches and trains personnel; recommends associated personnel actions when necessary.
  • You will lead efforts to streamline, automate and standardize processes and procedures to create capacity for their employees. Serve and lead projects and serve on internal committees. 
  • You will assist with improved profitability for accounts assigned to their teams. Provide training for cross-selling the Bank’s products and services to existing institutional clients.
  • You will provide oversight for of personnel to ensure Corporate Trust accounts are in compliance with Wealth Management Group and Departmental policies and procedures, governmental laws and regulations, and internal and external audit requirements.
  • You will build partnerships with Centers of Influence such as CPAs, attorneys, etc… to develop opportunities for Corporate Trust, Institutional Wealth and the Bank. You will participate in community and professional activities to expand personal network of business contacts for the development of new business.
  • You may perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years related experience or 20+ years equivalent experience.
