Position Summary:

 

Are you a contracts negotiator or attorney with 3-5 years of experience who wants to work with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrasturcture through our cutting-edge technology? We are looking for a Contracts Negotiator, reporting directly to the Senior Associate Counsel to manage commercial technology agreeements and consulting agreements with public sector entities within a global legal department. We have colleagues in more than 40 offices!

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Contracts Negotiator to join a transformative business and develop hands-on in-house experience supporting business growth.

We work in close partnership with our clients to improve their Financial, Social, and Environmental outcomes. We leverage the skills and expertise of our teams and select a handful of high-caliber complementary partners to meet and exceed expectations.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Analyzing, drafting and negotiating commercial technology licensing, consulting and subcontracting agreements with public sector entities and advising on responding to RFPs.
  • Reviewing other transactional documentation, including Purchase Orders, and other user terms and conditions for the purchase of software licenses and related services.
  • Work responsibilities that clearly demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and organizational proficiency due to highly complex and fast pace of work environment.
  • Communicating effectively across multiple mediums – phone/Microsoft Teams, in-person, email.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrates capability in presenting contract terms, negotiation issues, and risk analysis to key stakeholders and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and engagements concurrently.
  • Exposure and experience with technology licensing, including cloud offerings, and negotiating data security terms.
  • Prior in-house experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with project release procedures and/or contract management system is a plus.
  • Fluency in French is a plus.
  • J.D. is preferred but is not required.
