Summary:

The Concrete Subject Matter Expert will lead the integration and optimization of concrete pumping and batching technology at a leading construction company. This role focuses on applying specialized knowledge to improve and innovate concrete delivery and production processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and enhanced performance across regional projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of concrete batch plants and pumping systems tailored to specific construction projects within the region.
  • Develop innovative solutions and application engineering practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of concrete use in construction.
  • Ensure compliance of all operations with local regulations and project-specific requirements, emphasizing safety and environmental standards.
  • Provide expert advice and technical support to project teams, focusing on the optimization of concrete pumping and batching.
  • Collaborate with construction managers to integrate concrete technology solutions into project planning and execution.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of operational processes to identify and implement improvements in concrete production and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for issues related to concrete pumping technology and batching operations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Customize and oversee the application of concrete batching and pumping equipment across multiple sites.
  • Facilitate the adoption of new technologies and techniques in concrete mixing and delivery systems.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for project staff on the latest concrete technology applications.
  • Supervise the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade of concrete equipment to ensure peak operational performance.
  • Review, validate, and approve engineering designs and plans from a concrete technology perspective.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive experience in concrete batching and pumping operations, with a strong focus on application engineering.
  • Thorough understanding of concrete technology and its application in modern construction environments.
  • Proven track record of improving construction processes through innovative concrete solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of guiding teams and interfacing with stakeholders.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel as needed to oversee regional projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
