We are now recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. 

This role would suit someone with a solid analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Providing a proactive and varied support role to Account Managers & Finance team you will be responsible for providing decision support.

 

You will be based from our Weybridge offices, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. 

 

This role is Full-Time and Fixed Term for 12 months. 
 

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Working closely with National Account Managers, providing the financial input required to help them drive the business short and long term using internal and external data.
  • Producing and reviewing monthly analysis and commentary on the channel’s performance
  • Reviewing and financially challenging the annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) submissions with the sales teams
  • Providing ad-hoc decision support to the Grocery Multiples sales team, analysing trading agreements and sales proposals with regards to profit and cash impacts
  • Developing “What if” scenarios and risk analysis to evaluate opportunities; evaluate alternative price/promotion scenarios to support commercial presentations to customers
  • Co-ordinate and monitor risks and opportunities to the customers performance
  • Participating in and/or actively supporting strategic projects and ongoing Finance initiatives

 

What you’ll bring:

•    A finance qualification e.g. AAT , or on the way to achieving.
•    Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel. 
•    Experience with JDE is desirable 
•    Numerate and articulate as well as being an excellent communicator and team player.
•    Proactivity, curiosity and a passion for wine!
