General Description

  • Strategic Sourcing and Procurement is seeking for a Business Analyst to develop and execute the monitoring process of the Sap Ariba Contract Module. As part of this effort, the candidate must analyze the transactions to measure volume, type of agreements, module performance and ascertain that the business units comply with the applicable policies & procedures requirements, among other efforts. Develop dashboards, share data insights and recommendations to Key Stakeholders. This position is also expected to support continuous process improvements and drive standardization of processes documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the monitoring efforts in the contract module.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, cycle times, contracts aging, business units’ performance and non-compliance transactions.
  • Work closely with Legal and other areas within SS&P to standardize the contracting process.
  • Provide suggestions, create efficiencies, and identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the contracting process.
  • Analyze the overall process to suggest initiatives that can lead to user adoption. Lead the implementation if applicable.
  • Support the Division with the procedures documentations and annual policy review.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University is required. Degree concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred.

Experience

  • At least three (3) years of experience in process improvement, project management and/or analytical tasks and presenting final reports. Also, experience within vendor management oversight functions, procurement activities, contracts analysis and internal controls are preferred.

Certifications / Licenses (nice to have)

Business Analyst Certification
PMP
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Other Qualifications

  • Experience gathering information and providing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication (and presentation) skills; in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and business areas.
  • Intermediate (Advanced is preferred) in the use of Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience creating ad-hoc reports and ability to analyze data for management reports.
  • Detail oriented with strong time and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication (i.e. verbal and written) and presentation skills. Must be able to write clearly and concisely in English and Spanish.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
  • Ability to monitor compliance with policy, procedures, and processes.
  • Contract Management- ability to resolve contract related issues.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Results oriented with sound decision making ability.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Team player, comfortable with fast-paced, changing environment and ambiguity.
  • Ability to work independently.
