The Regional GL Accountant is responsible for all financial reporting and record maintenance of multiple legal entities (“LE”) within the Asia Pacific (“APAC”) region both for local statutory reporting and consolidation purposes. His/ Her activities are to ensure compliance with US GAAP / local accounting standards reporting and SOX requirements.
What will your job look like?
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reports, which are compliant with US GAAP / local accounting standards / SOX, of assigned legal entities within APAC region.
- Responsible towards the External Auditors over the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of Amdocs financial records prepared in accordance with US GAAP or Local GAAP (as needed) of assigned APAC legal entities. This includes the preparation of audited financial statements.
- Reviews and analyzes the financial results to ensure correctness and accuracy of financial records, which includes the following:

- Relevant provisions and accruals
- Aging analysis of accounts payable and accounts receivables sub-ledgers, prepaid and fixed assets roll-forward
- Ledger entries and reconciliation
- Provides the necessary financial information, analysis and supporting documents needed during statutory compliances/audits of various government authorities such as tax authorities.
- Monitors the profitability of the legal entity and ensures that the relevant corporate units are updated.
- Provides financial and accounting support to the business partners’ finance representatives as well as those responsible for internal audits.
- Provides ongoing support and maintains the financial infrastructure to ensure smooth business operations.
Acts as a professional accounting focal point within the company as well as with the company’s business counterparts.

Critical Experiences
- 4 – 6 years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements for APAC region
- Technical knowledge of US GAAP/Local GAAP and SOX
- Ability to work as part of a team
- ERP experience (SAP would be an advantage)
- CA or CPA membership
- Advanced English language skills
