We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software engineer to design, develop and integrate Radio Software for an advanced telecommunication product.

The ideal candidate would have experience with ARM & Xilinx/Intel SoC and be located close to our Buchdorf facility.

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

 

  • Design and development of Layer-1 signal processing chain for 4G & 5G product.
  • Design and development of Radio control & configuration.
  • Programming SoCs and Multi-core processors at application software level.
  • Configuration of M, S, C & U plane for ORAN 4G & 5G Radios.
  • Embedded software platform requirement analysis, architecture, design and development.
  • Write functional, design and test specifications.
  • Prototyping software for new products.
  • Assist junior engineers with coding and troubleshooting.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with hardware and system engineering teams and stakeholders.       

 

Qualifications & Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor in Electronics or Software Engineering with 4+ years of software development experience or Masters with 2+ years’ experience.
  • Strong expertise in C programming.
  • Theoretical knowledge on wireless communication topics like Fourier transform, Correlation, Channel encoding, decoding, Channel estimation & equalization & Spectrum analysis will be advantageous.
  • Understanding of ORAN M, S, C & U plane will be a plus.
  • Experience on bus protocols (I2C, SPI, MDIO, JESD) & Ethernet protocols will be a plus.
  • Knowledge in usage of Signal Generator and Spectrum Analyzer will be a plus.
  • Experience with design & development on multi-threaded, multi-processor and SoC platforms using Linux OS.
  • Excellent debugging skills using standard and advanced H/W and S/W debuggers (GDB and JTAG).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
