Design solutions, provide consultancy to business, and manage the operations of computer systems related to UNIX and Windows operating systems, servers, virtualization and cloud technologies.

What will your job look like?

1. Design and implement AWS or Azure-based infrastructure solutions according to best practices and industry standards.
2. Manage and maintain Azure/AWS virtual machines/EC2 instances, networks, storage accounts, and other Azure/AWS services.
3. Monitor Azure/AWS infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure/AWS services into existing systems and applications.
5. Develop and implement network architecture and design for optimal performance, security, and scalability.
6. Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
7. Implement and manage network security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
8. Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and other network-related problems.
9. Document network configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
10. Stay up-to-date with Azure and network technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure and network environment.

All you need is…

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Minimum of [X] years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure or AWS based infrastructure.
  3. Strong understanding of Azure or AWS services such as virtual machines/EC2 Instances, Networking, Storage and Security.
  4. Experience with Azure or AWS networking concepts including VPC/virtual networks, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute and Cloud Firewall.
  5. Hands-on experience with network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles.
  6. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
  7. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are a plus.
  8. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
