Job Description

Primarily responsible for resolving complex issues pertaining to customer checking and saving accounts, wires, and general ledger account discrepancies. This position ensures accurate documentation of case findings for internal and external customers and State and Federal entities.  Analysts are required to apply processing knowledge in order to effectively resolve various types of account discrepancies and perform highly complex in-depth research using various banking applications and tools.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will review incoming communications from other Financial Institutions, clearinghouse files, and line of business partners to identify if an issue exists and determine the best course of action.
  • You will research transaction processing issues and reconcile customer and general ledger discrepancies.
  • You will settle customer to customer adjustments resulting from bank processing errors.
  • You will perform in-depth multi-bank reconciliations.
  • You will speak professionally with business partners and external financial institutions to investigate cases.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in Business and/or Bank Accounting related fields and 2-3 years of related experience in Bank Operations and/or Check processing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
