Software Test Team Lead carries management responsibilities for a group of testing engineers; responsible for segments of the planning, design, and execution of tests and is expected to provide professional and technical leadership for the group, raise risks, suggest mitigations and make decisions

What will your job look like?

• • You will provide leadership to testing quality engineers by coaching and mentoring throughout end-to-end software testing, automation testing and lifecycle to achieve project goals to the required level of quality; promote team    engagement and motivation. • You will provide input to the testing manager for estimates, resource needs, milestones and risks; ensure effective delegation, monitoring tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and escalations. • You will provide hands-on technical and functional input to tests design, automation testing, integration and test execution of complex software components according to functional design specifications; Follow software testing methodologies and release processes. •  You will analyze and provide input for the requirements and provide impact assessment for new features or bug fixes to development team lead. • You will enforce quality processes (such as performing escaping bugs root cause analysis, outlining corrective action for given problems and code reviews for automation), measure them and take corrective actions in case of variances and ensure all the project agreed deliverables are completed to the required level of quality.

All you need is…

• •    At least 8 years of testing experience •    Good knowledge of automation testing •    Experience of API definition: Swagger, Restful, Queues, etc. •    Understanding of databases – RDBM and NoSQL (Couchbase, MongoDB) •    Good knowledge of testing methodologies and lifecycle. •    Good to have Performance testing knowledge will be an advantage. •    Experience with agile engineering practices such as SCRUM development, DevOps, CI, Jenkins •    Self-driven and independent who can take responsibility and proactively carry on tasks as a self-contributor. •    Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders. •    Planning and organization skills •    Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly and efficiently. •    BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject •    Excellent communication skills with excellent verbal and written English
