Based in Citywest, Dublin, as part of the Global IT organisation for Colgate, the successful applicant will be a key part of the European team responsible for delivering SAP based Finance solutions across the Europe Africa EurAsia regions.

The work is fast paced, leading edge and relies on great collaboration between all team members ( IT and business partners).We are seeking a person who will feel comfortable managing strategic projects, liaising with business users, and driving and managing change.

Scope of responsibility:

The successful candidate will be part of a global team that is helping to shape Colgate-Palmolive Systems to meet
Finance needs of the future. Helping Business functions to streamline and improve business processes.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:
● Participating in projects by managing and/or performing the design, configuration and testing application in SAP
systems in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
● Lead projects by managing scope, timelines, planning, communication, prioritising changes, working with a
team to deliver agreed business requirements.
● Managing stakeholder relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others
up-to-date on project results.
● Adding real value to the Finance function by assisting to maximise utilisation of the implemented SAP solutions.
● Acting as a regional or global expert for complex business processes within the Finance function.

 

Person Specifications:
● A team player with excellent attention to detail.

● Ability to work on own initiative
● Excellent Communication and Fluent in English
● Degree in a Financial discipline preferable. (Computer Science or equivalent is also acceptable).

● 4+ Years SAP FICO experience. .Experience in S/4 Hana is an advantage.
● Proficient Business Process Knowledge in Finance areas and integration with other modules
● Strong technical knowledge and expertise in SAP Finance modules (configuration and end to end project
implementation ) with strong problem solving skills
● Strong requirements gathering skills and scoping as per SAP best practices
● An interest in developing new Technology Skills such as Analytics, SaaS, Automation etc.
● Proven ability to manage the delivery of Finance solutions:
● Developing project plans.
● Managing cross-functional project teams.
● Liaising with business users.
● Experience of working in global or with remote teams would also be an advantage
● A positive attitude and willingness to become part of a team is imperative
