About The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Brand Manager – Jacobs Creek ANZ to lead the brand strategy and execution for one of Australia’s most iconic wine brands across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Global Brand Director, Jacob’s Creek, this role owns the development and delivery of consumer‑led brand plans, portfolio strategy, innovation and P&L management. With ANZ representing approximately 50% of global Jacobs Creek volume, this role is critical to delivering global brand growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of ANZ brand plans, aligned to global brand strategy and positioning
- Own portfolio, campaign, innovation and P&L management across Australia and New Zealand
- Create disruptive, cut‑through communications that strengthen category leadership
- Champion the ANZ consumer and shopper voice, influencing senior stakeholders and investment decisions
- Lead global sponsorship activation in ANZ, including the Australian Open
- Partner closely with Consumer Insights to unlock insights that shape strategy and innovation
- Act as the brand expert, delivering market, competitor, performance and ROI reporting
- Lead agency and partner relationships across creative, media, PR and experiential
- Drive new product development, innovation pipeline and commercialisation
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Marketing and Commercial teams to translate brand strategy into trade execution
- Manage marketing investment, spend efficiency and agency value delivery
- Support global Jacobs Creek initiatives as required
About You
You’re a commercially minded brand leader with a strong track record in complex, fast‑moving consumer environments. You bring:
- 6–8 years’ experience in Brand Management within FMCG or Liquor
- Proven experience managing brand P&Ls, portfolios and innovation pipelines
- Strong capability in consumer‑led strategy, insights and performance measurement
- Experience leading integrated campaigns and sponsorship activation (preferred)
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and working cross‑functionally
- Strong planning, project management and prioritisation skills
- A practical understanding of the wine or liquor category (highly regarded)
- A degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
