About the Reconciliations Executive role
There is an exciting opportunity to join our Client Support Services team in our Dublin office as a Reconciliation Executive. This position provides the opportunity to gain full exposure to the Goodbody CSS function.
Reconciliations Executive Accountabilities include:
- Completion of daily/ weekly and monthly reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
- Take ownership for the resolution of any differences that arise.
- Ensure that there is effective collaboration with the other areas involved in the investigation and resolution of reconciliation items.
- Accurately maintain records to ensure that completed reconciliations are available for review should they be required.
- All queries or requests are logged, tracked and resolved in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with management in relation to reconciliation items and queries.
- Escalation of issues impacting upon the production and completion of reconciliations to a senior member of the team.
- Ensure on-going compliance with Client Asset Regulations (CAR) with ability to recognise any breach of CAR and adhere to escalation policies.
- Assist in the provision of operational oversight in relation to processing and management of client assets.
- Consistently demonstrate customer focused behaviours while using judgement to make sound and dependable decisions.
- To take full responsibility and ownership for all assigned administrative services.
- Ensure that all tasks performed are compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintenance of procedure manual updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all colleagues, relevant vendors / customers and stakeholders.
- Recognise and record Service Level Agreement breaches against Outsourced Provider as and when they occur – adhere to breach recognition and escalation procedures.
- Assist in the registration of specific investments.
- Be responsive and receptive to internal and external change initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of different stockbroking functions would be an advantage.
- Third level qualification would be an advantage.
- At least 1-year Financial Services experience would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications principally Word and Excel.

- Proven track record of problem identification and resolution at an inter-departmental and third-party level.
- Confident communicator with excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Good workload management, with the flexibility to switch between tasks as necessary and manage workflows and responsibilities assigned.
- Strong interpersonal and team working abilities.
- Very high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are mandatory.
- Ability to operate calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
