Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Sr Program Scheduler to provide leadership to our Advanced Systems Division of our Space Systems Group in our Dulles, VA offices.
Role description & Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to APD Sr. Director and has the primary responsibility of organizing, planning, baselining, monitoring, and control of the program execution plan. Additional roles will include program specific supply chain management monitoring and control as related to the overall success of the prescribed program execution plan. In general the position will be tasked with helping the program management team develop a credible delivery schedule, identify alternative “best” case scenarios and provide insight into execution performance which will allow for proactive measures that minimize risk. This position will support highly complex, multi-year advanced technology programs that include flight hardware and software development. These critical programs must be delivered under rigid schedule and budgetary constraints to be successful
• Execute the program Earned Value Management (EVM) collection and analysis – 40%
• Perform Program analyst task including SDRL management, Supplier Performance metrics, and Financial performance status reports – 15%
• Develop and report Program Performance Measurements which allow Senior Management to evaluate program performance against goals – 15%
• Work with program cost account managers to obtain required data and performance inputs – 20%
• Report results to program management and team members – 10%

Skills & Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Visio and Windows OS
• In depth knowledge of one or more scheduling tools (i.e. P3, MS Project, Fast Track)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required
• PMO Certification is highly preferred
