We are now recruiting for a Demand Planner to partner with sales and supply chain to provide a robust demand forecast (1- 24 months).  In this role, you will monitor’s trends and consumer behaviour to estimate future demand and help the business meet customer demand for products minimising excess inventory.  As a team, we will focus on identifying and implementing process improvements and you will be responsible for rolling-out best practices across the ANZP business. 

You can be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne offices, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Support the sales team scan forecast build by analysing market data, historical trends and promotional calendars; provide recommendations, challenge forecasts assumptions and own scan forecast base.
•    Run monthly S&OP account reviews with sales team and pro-actively communicate any changes. 
•    Own system data inputs and maintain different systems (DP Infor, Demantra, Anaplan) ensuring the systems reconcile providing accurate and reliable data.
•    Provide insight and inputs for Demand Reviews to enable forecast sign-off with the leadership team
•    Analyse Forecast KPIs to identify latest trends and variables impacting forecast, share insights and drive action to continuously improve the forecast.
•    Work closely with internal/external stakeholders to establish a robust process, utilising different tools to build a rolling demand forecast.
•    Actively participate in collaboration planning with the customer seeking for forecast alignment and provide stock updates as required.
•    Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis to understand supply position, constraints and any factors with potential impacts on service and forecast delivery.
•    Drive weekly Supply updates with the sales team to communicate potential case fill impacts seeking for actions to mitigate.
•    Provide insights to the broader team on matters of either over/under forecasting bias to best balance service levels with working capital.
•    Assist the DP manager with inputs into the long-term strategic plan.
•    Work closely Business / Commercial manager to ensure demand changes are covered as part of the monthly demand cycle.
•    Seek continuous improvement across all facets of SO&P, forecasting techniques, structure of review process and stakeholder management, both vertically (i.e. supply chain / customer) and horizontally (sales/finance).
•    Maintain a statistical forecast to ensure continuity of supply.

What you’ll bring:

•    ASCI Certification or degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance.
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a demand planning /commercial finance / VRP capacity, inventory management, allocation or replenishment; financial planning or financial analysis experience
•    Demonstrable analytical experience in a value-add capacity.
•    Excel advance.
•    FMCG experience and Systems: Anaplan, Infor, JDE highly regarded.
