Role Details

Accolade Barossa is looking for a seasonal viticulture casual to assist with sampling and data collation for V24.  Reporting to the Technical Officer, work will start from the beginning of January until approximately March.

Your Key Accountabilities

As a viticulture Casual you will be involved in:
– Collection and Collation of vineyard data across multiple Barossa sites
– Grape maturity sampling and processing
– Phenological and pest and disease identification
– Other work as requested by TO or Vineyard manager

Other Accountabilities Include

Your Knowledge and Skills

Viticultural experience not necessary but willingness and capacity to learn is essential.

Essential Qualifications

– Physically fit and able to work in warm weather
– Valid driver’s licence
– Strong verbal communication skills
– Strong numerical reasoning
– Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
– Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
– Flexibility and willing to work dynamic hours depending on demands of the season
