adidas Shared Services in Porto delivers high quality services for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Retail Accounting, eCommerce Accounting and other Finance processes as well as HR Services for adidas companies located in Europe and Americas.

 

Within the framework of HR Services, we are providing excellent services and business competence regarding all HR Services related processes. As HR Services strives to combine competent and professional business partnering with a constant enhancement of services in an efficient and value-adding way, the role is vitally supporting this target by following key responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team’s management including coaching, training, motivation and performance appraisal guidance
  • Supervise the daily operations by adhering to the agreed SLAs towards the business partners
  • Ensure good relationships with business partners and the global functional Team on a proactive basis
  • Develop and report relevant KPI’s for area of responsibility
  • Generate ideas for process improvements with respect to the processes in scope and ensure high quality and efficient work
  • Problem analyses and proposal or assessment of solutions, and respective implementation
  • Support the carrying out standard and complex audits of personnel data, programs and processes
  • Timely execution of standard and complex payroll tasks according to defined processes, schedules and service levels in accordance with regional and local guidelines
  • Manage the change of systems and processes related to payroll management to ensure proper execution of regulations and compliance with corporate policies
  • Providing input for changes to corporate policies and regulations
  • Coordinate new transition scope of activities, organizing and leading calls with partners, promoting team cohesiveness, identifying current and future risks for service delivery and ensuring appropriate improvement actions are taken
  • Participate in internal and cross functional projects as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Very good association and experience with payroll solutions and regulations, ideally with SAP HR
  • Experience in a Shared Service Payroll environment or similar;
  • International mindset, experience as part of a geographically and culturally diverse team

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Commerce/Business/Administration/Finance/Controlling or similar
  • 5 plus years relevant work experience in Payroll and HR
  • Mulitple Country Payroll work experience
  • Proven work experience in people management / demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR tools
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office application
