You will solve complex, hard‑to‑fill hiring challenges by owning escalated and stuck requisitions end‑to‑end, reshaping hiring demand, and applying proactive sourcing and deep assessment judgement to drive outcomes where standard delivery models fail.

What will your job look like?

  • Take ownership of complex, hard‑to‑fill, and escalated requisitions, where hiring is stalled or at risk
  • Diagnose why hiring is not progressing (e.g. skill scarcity, unrealistic expectations, location constraints, assessment friction) and intervene decisively
  • Conduct deep kickoff and reset discussions with hiring managers to reshape demand and success criteria based on market realities
  • Design and execute bespoke sourcing strategies, including market mapping, targeted outreach, referrals, and competitor research
  • Proactively source and engage passive niche talent, continuously adapting strategy based on market response
  • Evaluate candidates using advanced assessment judgement, identifying fit, risk, and transferable capability
  • Personally own stuck or escalated roles through to closure—hire, reset, or stop—with clear rationale
  • Provide market intelligence and evidence‑based insights to support hiring trade‑offs and decision‑making
  • Partner with Niche TA Leads, Delivery Managers, and Strategic Sourcing to support prioritisation and recovery actions
  • Maintain disciplined documentation and system hygiene while keeping focus on outcomes, not process volume

  • Proven experience delivering niche, specialised, or persistently hard‑to‑fill roles, rather than high‑volume or application‑led hiring
  • Strong capability in hands‑on proactive sourcing across passive and constrained talent markets
  • Confidence to challenge and reshape hiring demand (skills, location, seniority, assessment approach) in partnership with hiring managers
  • Strong assessment judgement to evaluate capability, potential, and transferable skills, beyond CV match
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, evolving requirements, and extended hiring cycles
  • A data‑informed mindset, using market insight and funnel signals to drive decisions—not just report activity
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage escalations effectively
