POSITION DESCRIPTION: Supervises employees by assigning work, reviewing progress, and assessing performance for supporting mobile devices, endpoints, and software license entitlements. Analyze workflow and assigns or approves scheduling of work to meet priorities and goals to support endpoint devices within the enterprise computing environment. Conducts and maintains accurate software licensing inventory controls based on F.A.C. 60GG-2. Assist in developing, planning, organizing, and administering policies and procedures for the Florida Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure information technology objectives are met. Monitors and ensures compliance with service level agreements.
Track software entitlements against allocations to maintain compliance. Responsible for the automated and efficient implementation controls for accurate delivery in order to optimize cost, value, and risk of software supported by the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Enterprise Services. Oversee the maintenance and administration of System Center Configuration Manager and InTune for mobile devices to ensure endpoint reliability, availability, and security. Responsible for preparing documentation for software license renewals and negotiations, and software license audits.
Assists with annual disaster recovery exercise and development of disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions and backup systems as it relates to enterprise infrastructure systems and endpoint functionality.
Coordinate with other members and support teams to review information resources and potential impacts on statewide rollouts to insure client workstations are sufficient to meet system demands. Participate on statewide teams, both internal and external to Office of Information Technology to share feedback regarding subject matter expertise. Document and maintain project information for product upgrades and security patching.
Control and protects the device configuration settings for all devices on the network; Test and monitor the delivery of all content, applications and services; Manage the risks associated with access to data by securing all Department issued mobile devices, workstations and servers; support the security updates and mobile app installations for all FDOT's endpoint devices.
Monitors Service Desk queues and ensures assigned support tickets are resolved within established service level guidelines.
