In today’s dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Global Growth & Innovation team at Hill’s. Our highly energetic and focused team is dedicated to driving growth for Hill’s Pet Nutrition in this ever-changing landscape. What role will you play as a member of the Innovation team? As the Senior Brand Manager, Global Therapeutic Innovation you will be at the forefront of our product development efforts. You will leverage your expertise in insights as well as market & nutrition trends to create and implement new product strategies that will enhance health and well-being worldwide. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our products not only meet but exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the innovation pipeline development for key Hill’s Prescription Diet therapeutic nutrition categories, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with our brand’s vision and strategy.
- Engage with pet parents, veterinarians, and nutrition experts to gather insights and feedback that will inform therapeutic nutrition product development and improvements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Partner with our R&D teams on the latest scientific advancements in therapeutic nutrition and translate these findings into practical, marketable product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Insights, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory, to develop and optimize new therapeutic nutrition product formulations, packaging, and positioning.
- Lead the integrated marketing communications strategy and creative for new product launches with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful product launches and iterations.
- Collaborate with regional teams to develop global strategy and innovation execution plans.
- Manage marketing communication tools, claims database, trademark clearance, invoice processing, and project initiation request processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Marketing or any related field
- 5+ years Brand Management or Innovation. Relevant Customer Marketing, eCommerce or Trade Marketing can be considered
- Proven track record of bringing new products to market successfully
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creative and open-minded, with a passion for innovation and a drive to create the best possible products for consumers.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $131,000.00 – $160,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate’s 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
