As a Senior Analyst – Compensation/Business Analytics you will play a key role in helping build, optimize, and scale critical sales compensation process and tools. This is a dynamic and exciting role with the ability to shape the direction of the department vision through your contributions. This will be a cross-functional role that provides an opportunity to collaborate across various business teams and functions within BSC including Sales Operations, Human Resources, IT and Divisional Sales Compensation team developing strong relationships and streamlined collaboration. The Compensation/Business Analyst role operates within the Selling organization supporting sales incentive compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with divisional compensation team to build, optimize Anaplan solutions to support business needs
- Support existing Anaplan models and continually improve, add new capabilities, and provide error resolution on current models
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and establish effective and efficient processes
- Perform performance and compensation analytics
- Become an expert on data sources, ensuring data accuracy when using them
- Work closely with the divisional compensation team and commit to delivering results under tight deadlines
- Demonstrate team-first mindset while leveraging individual skills/ability to work independently
- Develop skills with business intelligence applications such as Tableau, Alteryx, SAP BusinessObjects
- Participate in special projects as they arise
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or STEM
- Strong math skills with the ability to solve complex problems using a logic-based approach
- Curious mindset and takes an active interest in data accuracy
- Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables
- Can-do attitude with attention to detail and oriented to precision, accuracy, continuous learning and development
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work both independently and on a team in a fast-paced matrix environment, prioritize own work, and adhere to tight deadlines
- Holds self accountable to a performance culture building performance excellence
- Advanced Excel user who is comfortable with pivot tables, vlookups and building formulas
Other Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of Commercial Operations, Accounting, Finance or analytical work experience
- Previous experience with incentive compensation or with a hierarchy-based system
- Proven track record of high performance, innovative approaches to quantitative analysis, and ability to multi-task
- Experience working with Sales Compensation solutions like Anaplan
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SQL and other programming
