About the role:

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role within the Urology Finance organization. The individual will be responsible for business partnership, planning, and reporting for the Marketing, Admin, and Distribution functions. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will partner with the Selling analyst to provide consolidated analytics for all of SG&A as a key contributor to understanding and communicating the financial performance of the Division.

 

This position has a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with senior management, providing financial support and consultation on their functional areas of the business. This position reports to the Urology Finance Senior Manager and involves interaction with other functional, regional, and Corporate finance groups across the organization.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Serve as the primary Finance business partner for the Marketing, Admin, and Distribution functions, supporting senior functional leaders
  • Perform all aspects of the monthly financial close (e.g., necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, generation of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules, management reporting, variance/trend analysis)
  • Contribute to a quarterly reporting package to share with management, highlighting key financial metrics vs. goals; communicate areas of interest and risk at the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience
  • Lead the AOP process across SG&A and support the quarterly forecasting process including investment prioritization, contingency planning, and allocating tasks as applicable
  • Serve as financial reviewer/mentor for divisional Value Improvement Program projects
  • Drive continuous improvement within our financial processes to gain efficiencies
  • Support acquisition and integration efforts, as necessary
  • Support ad-hoc requests and projects when required

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and business support
  • Strong knowledge of tools and systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well in a complex, highly matrixed global organization and simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes
  • Ability to consolidate, synthesize, and report on large amounts of financial data
  • Very strong financial analysis skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and act in a consultative role
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Prior experience in a medium to large company
  • Prior experience using Hyperion Planning and SAP applications
  • Prior experience using Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Drive and ambition to develop and grow into more senior finance roles
