The Executive & Internal Communications Team is tasked with connecting employees, ABOs and external influencers to our enterprise direction, through timely, relevant and credible communications. They also are tasked to support Amway’s C-Suite executives with communications and messaging that informs and inspires employees and Amway Business Owners to bring Amway’s vision and goals to life.  Partnering closely with executive leadership, this team promotes our vision, values, goals, and corporate culture through key messages that engage employees and bring clarity around business priorities. Together you will continue to shape and evolve a very special corporate environment, respected around the world.

 

How you would contribute to the role:

 

This is a special role for someone whose talent has been established in the communications content oversight space! In this unique role, you will help Amway evolve into 2020 with consistent messaging that defines who we are as a company and clarifies what is important to share with our employees and Amway Business Owners (ABOs) around the world.  In this role you will be tasked to bring precision to our employee- and ABO-facing stories, building a content management plan, calendar and guidelines ensure our words ring true with internal divisions, global affiliates, employees, and ABOs. You will be tasked with helping all content creators – whether video, social, email, intranet follow quality assurance processes that you build and manage. This is a global role that will have you guiding communication partners in markets around the world and determining how we share content, training them on consistency for all mediums.  Your knowledge in the social space will be highly leveraged in this role as well. We seek a talent who can best represent our special Amway culture, voice, and brand, through quality content plans and with strong audience segmentation and editorial skills, including writing, proofreading and measuring content’s effectiveness. What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • 5 – 7 years demonstrated experience in communications content creation in a corporate culture
  • Experience in all communications mediums and channels, with heavy emphasis on social content
  • Solid exposures in analyzing relevance and engagement with content, interpreting insights to action
  • Proven communicator able to manage strategic and multifaceted communications projects
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex subject matter into relatable content based on audience
  • Ability to create, implement and execute a comprehensive strategy for content across multiple medias
  • Ability to work with global project teams, bringing insights to action
  • Background in executive or strategic communications, helping leaders craft insights for multiple audiences
  • Ability to travel globally, up to 20%
  • BS degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline
