Product Sales Consultant – Hydrualics and Hydrology

Overview

Product Sales Consultants are focused on finding new business opportunities with new accounts or within existing accounts at Bentley.
They are responsible for selling product licenses and subscriptions as well as services related to the product licenses and subscriptions. 
Product Sales Consultants are responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals for users and prospects located within a defined
geographic territory and specific product range.Product Sales Consultants are expected to prospect and develop business, respond to RFPs and
other incoming sales leads, develop proposals and give presentations and demonstrations to existing users and prospects, all in close cooperation
with Inside Sales Representatives. They will coordinate resources and collaborate with other Bentley colleagues where and when necessary. They will devote considerable amount of time to visiting prospects, existing users and sales events in their assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
 
•Look for and find prospects in your territory in various ways (existing contacts Cloud4Sales), internet, outbound calling, visiting relevant public events such as trade shows, etc.);
•Work directly with both existing (up- and cross selling) and new users;
•Participate in relevant exhibitions, congresses and other events;
•Qualify and quantify each lead and sales opportunity; Develop and manage a sales pipeline and forecast and report business bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly;
•Develop relationships at various levels within prospects and users through use of direct sales techniques. Your points of contact will predominantly be engineers and architects;
•Negotiating and implementing approved sales and service contracts;
•Utilize Cloud4Sales (Bentley’s CRM system) as a daily sales tool and reporting system to manage contacts, leads, all sales opportunities, and forecasts;
•Creating and managing effective territory sales plans;
•Hosting and (co-)presenting web presentations and demonstrations with Application Engineers for prospects and users;
•Scheduling and effectively engaging technical colleagues to undertake product demonstration or other technical needs in assisting and closing sales to meet revenue goals;
•Maintaining a high knowledge level of the company's applicable products and services.

•8+ years of industrial experience
•Has a track record of quarterly and annual over quota performances

•Has mastered the Bentley Sales Process and consistently documents all opportunities to a high standard within CFS.

•Proven track record of sales proficiency and mastery of assigned Product Lines/Brands
•Self-motivated to plan and execute effective prospecting call campaigns, without oversight from sales manager.
•Mastered Social Selling skills and has established an SSI of >65
•Recognized by their peers as a role model.
