At our facility in Ashland you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group division as the Process Lead – Paper Machine:
- Ensure superior product quality through effective management of techniques, processes, and systems.
- Collaborate with Asset Owner and Reliability Lead to implement and drive lean manufacturing processes, including Centerlines (CL) and Rapid Changeovers (RCO).
- Work with production planners to optimize schedules and grade changes.
- Assess asset performance and implement corrective actions.
- Calibrate centerlines and develop and manage modification requests form.
- Collect and analyze data on quality and production variances; create action plans to mitigate variances.
- Share best practices with other Process Leads and train operators on CL and RCO.
- Address procedural issues with suppliers.
- Support large and small-scale projects, including machine parts design while managing SOPs
- Continuously improve standards and processes related to CL and RCO.
- Execute product development and qualification processes

You too, put forward your strengths:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical and/or engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a process/quality engineer or engineering technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office
- Experience in the paper industry is considered a definite asset
- Demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience and understanding of Lean Production System principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well and communicate with others.
