For our purchasing team at our bavarian location Marktoberdorf we are looking for a Master Data Steward (m/f/d) temporary for 2 years

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Master Data Steward to join our organization. As a Master Data Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of purchasing and cross functional data within our systems. You will collaborate with various teams, including Quality, Purchasing, manufacturing, engineering and material planning, to address data issues and populating key data for purchasing activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, passion for maintaining high data quality standards and problem-solving skills to be able to provide the correct data towards the purchasing community.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Creation of material ID’s to purchasing sourcing system (APEX)
  • Assign materials to correct commodity and commodity buyer
  • Populate NPI sourcing relevant data to purchasing to enable optimal sourcing activities
  • Material – revision change management
  • Maintaining purchasing relevant master data in SAP to enable clean data transfer between systems
  • Cross Functional ERP data maintenance

 

What You Will Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Proven experience (>2 years) working in data stewardship, data quality management, or a similar role, preferably in a vendor management environment
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data management practices, and industry-standard data quality tools and methodologies, considered as plus
  • Proficient in using data management tools, SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and recommend data quality improvements
