Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Drive Long and short-term strategic planning for country Operations (ops) team in supporting the local business growth
  • Directing and controlling all aspect of warehouse operations and logistics distribution function
  • Provide guidance to country Ops team and proactively develop, lead and implement continuous process improvement (CPI)
  • Oversee the availability of goods in both inbound and outbound process to meet the business timeline in the most process efficient and cost effective manner


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement short & long term Operations strategy. Lead operations processes including budgeting and forecasting activity. Deliver enhanced services with process and cost efficiency.
  • Plan and improve inbound & outbound product flow to meet business requirements
  • Support Distribution long / short term capacity planning
  • Improve overall inventory management (inventory profile, visibility and tracking of inventory availability at different points in the pipeline)
  • Drive and implement World Class Supply Chain models
  • Support country Continuous process improvement of inbound & outbound processes to achieve the best Practice and standardization
  • Perform Supply Chain Management (SCM) budgeting, set targets and achieve supply chain productivity KPI including SCM cost as well as productivity KPI monitoring
  • Drive operation related projects and manage contract negotiation and extension
  • Perform any other roles or duties assigned by the superior, which is deemed reasonable, practical and logical
  • Keep abreast of new development in total supply chain and operational areas inside and outside the sporting goods industry and make recommendations to Management Team & Area SEA Management Team for future capacity and capability enhancement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding in SCM – logistic, planning, distribution center management as well as warehous operations  w/ experience in SAP/WMS/eCom system
  • Solid hands-on experience on managing operational performance (provide KPI framework), continuous process improvement & project implementation
  • A strong communicator; able to build a collaborative working relationship with all stakeholders and influence them
  • Fluent in English – excellent written and verbal communication skills


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; at least 8 years of relevant working experience in FMCG/ Retail/ Sporting goods industry
