Join us as an ITC System Integration Lead and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As an ITC System Integration Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper sequence of overall testing is being followed connecting the System Integration Team (Wayside Engineering), Signalling Test Team, Wayside Testing Team and Vehicle. You will also ensure that all the testable subsystem is being tested timely in accordance with the phasing and geographical breakdown forecasted in the project schedule. The incumbent will oversee drafting and writing Field Test Plans, reviewing and collaborating with the Overall System Acceptance Plan and specific integrated Test Procedures for the project. They will also be responsible for drafting specific Integrated Test Programs and harmonize it with the field test leads.
Issue and review methods and statements, create Field Test Plan, test procedures, and test reports consolidating test results (for ISA and customer) in support and fully collaboration to the Field Team.
Plan, lead and support Field Team conducting functional tests according to approved procedures, making the appropriate record on the test sheets and reporting the results to system validation and the punch list roll-out.
Follow and validate NCR list updates comparing the results presented to the Design Review, System Description Specifications, and Test Plan.
Schedule to keep a traceability of schedule against known and validated metrics.
Report significant deviations proposing action plans to recover delays to the Field team (Project ITC Manager and Test Lead).
Support the ITC Manager to ensure the proper sequence of overall testing is being followed connecting the System Integration Team (Wayside Engineering), Signaling Test Team, Wayside Testing Team and Vehicle.
Ensure all the testable subsystem is being tested timely in accordance with the phasing and geographical breakdown forecasted in the project schedule.
Provide field support through conference calls also on-site inspections.
– Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
– 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Engineering, Testing, or Verification and Validation supporting complex signalling wayside test and commissioning activities.
