AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of SAP BI/BW LEAD.  The IT SAP BI/DW Lead is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s SAP Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions. This lead role involves tracking daily operations, managing new demands, leading the BI Managed Service Provider (MSP).  

 

Your Impact

  • Lead BI/DW Operations through BI Manage Service Provider model: Track operation KPIs and root causes and serve as the escalation path for users.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Ensure that SAP BI/BW incidents and technical issues are resolved within SLAs. Conduct root cause analysis and provide permanent resolutions for recurring issues. Lead high incident issues with the IT and business leaders.
  • Knowledge Management: Set high standards for technical specifications for all developments. Drive the knowledge base on process documentation and new findings in issue resolution. Develop training documentation on reports and dashboards as needed for the user community.
  • Demand Management: Lead the prioritization process for new reports, data models, and system enhancements based on evolving business and IT requirements.
  • Performance Tuning: Drive performance tuning for BW queries and optimize data extraction.
  • Patch Management and Monitoring: Coordinate with the Basis team on the application of new notes and patches. Proactively monitor the system/processes and create incidents for any necessary actions.
  • Application Support:  Lead the MSP to provide support for BW 7.4, SAP BIIP tool, SAP EP 7.5 portal, and SAP frontend tools (Web analyser, BEx analyser, Analysis for Office, Bex Broadcaster, Web application designer).
  • Experience to Lead large and global operations.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Total 7+years of work experience with a Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the disciplines of  SAP BI/DW
  • Proven experience in SAP BW and BI tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of patch management and proactive system monitoring.
  • Experience managing a BI/DW Managed Service Provider, leading through a service level agreement, setting high standards and results, and acting as the bridge between AGCO and the MSP. Responsible for setting SAP BI/DW strategy and goals, ensuring that AGCO BI users are well supported.
  • Independent, targeted and flexible working methods as well as high levels of commitment and personal initiative
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
