IT Contract Coordinator Job

Overview
Summary

The IT Contract Coordinator will assist the IT Department in the preparation and review of contracts. Responsible for analyzing new and revised IT contracts to determine the rates, terms, invoice type, documentation requirements, billing, invoicing, schedule, etc. Utilizes the Contract Management System to organize and maintain the electronic filing of documents and correspondence of assigned contracts. Ensures timely and accurate data entry of key terms and information in coordination with the appropriate Legal team members and other designees. Assists and provides a range of administrative support to the IT Finance/Contracting department. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

REQUIRED:

Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field

Must have at least three (3) years of contracting, purchasing, procurement or legal experience.

  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

  • Must maintain confidentiality of legal and business information with the highest degree of integrity and discretion.
  • Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing legal documents, including contracts, transactional, financial and corporate documents and business letters.
  • Understanding and demonstrated experience with structuring service level agreements (SLAs); understanding of risk sharing contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with business leaders and contract requestors to identify needs and areas of potential risk.
  • Must possess knowledge regarding formation and maintenance of corporate entities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain department databases for tracking/monitoring information.
  • Proactive work ethic and team mentality.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Assists the IT Division in the preparation and review of contracts and transactional legal documents, including vendor contracts, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.
  • Supports the IT Division’s use of the system’s tracking and management system for contracts.
  • Provides general support and assistance to the IT Division.
  • Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
Physical Requirements
  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • The physical requirements of this position are: light work – exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
